About Sedona

Scenic 179

The Arizona Dept of Transportation (ADOT) is currently improving and widening SR 179.  In this regard, the State is spending $65 million to improve a 10-mile stretch through Sedona - including the 612 feet of frontage along the Falls at Oak Creek. Specifically, the property will receive a left-hand turn lane, right-hand turn lane, bike lanes, sidewalk and other benefits.  ADOT has prepared a rendering of the improvements that will front our project.

Sedona

National Geographic - Adventure Town: Sedona, Arizona

With a veritable boom of new arrivals—mostly outdoors lovers and active retirees—there's growing concern about preserving the surrounding desert landscape. But the success of local open-space initiatives is ensured by the fact that 49 percent of the 19-square-mile (49-square-kilometers) city is on national forestland—this means that, no matter how many are entranced by Sedona, it'll always be easy to heed the canyon's call.
